STEREOTYPE MACHINE is an interactive installation that generates family and worker mosaics from minimal prompts, then parses the outputs with computer vision libraries to reveal cultural biases embedded in Stable Diffusion models. Visitors type prompts into the installation interface; the system sends them to the image model, collects the results, and runs computer vision classification to make statistical patterns in the model's output visible. The installation operates as a research instrument, producing evidence rather than polemic — letting visitors draw their own conclusions from the aggregate patterns that emerge.
