Referto translates frontline healthcare testimony into 200+ pages of interviews, photographic reportages, and infographics exploring belonging within contemporary healthcare systems. The publication uses three content registers — long-form interview narrative, documentary reportage, and systemic infographics — each with a distinct visual treatment within a single editorial environment. Art direction follows a documentary approach: available light, unposed moments, and environments as character.
